A private pilot licence (PPL) or a private pilot certificate, is a type of pilot licence that allows the holder to act as pilot in command of an aircraft privately (not for remuneration).Private Pilot Licence is a certificate program of six to eight months.

Eligibility Criteria:

 Students must be 10th qualified from any recognized board.

 Aspirants are required to have good knowledge of Physics and Mathematics.

 Candidates must be 17 years old and not less.

 Applicants should meet the Medical Standards as per Director General of Civil Aviation(DGCA).

Entrance Exam:

Admission for these courses is generally provided on a merit basis. Shortlisted Candidates may need to go through an aptitude test conducted by the Private Pilot License colleges. Admission will be confirmed on the basis of qualifying marks and results of aptitude tests.
