Theme: 4/5/6 Overs Cricket (Team of 6)


Participants: Students from Grades 6 to 12 enrol in the competitions.


Categories:

  1. Grade 6 to 8

  2. Grade 9 to 12


Levels of Competition:

  • Constituency Level: Initial competitions held at the school or constituency level, with participants competing within their designated constituency. Top three participants/two teams per category for each of the competitions to advance to the next round. 

    • After registration, you may show your details to the IAS officers of your school constituency, who will provide the date for the competitions to be held within the school constituency.

    • The Constituency level match should be of 4 Overs.


  • City Level: Final rounds of competitions held offline in designated cities, with winners from the constituency level competing for the top honours within their syllabus or school board. All the rounds of competitions will be in groups segregated based on the syllabus:

    Group 1: CBSE

    Group 2: IB, Cambridge, ICSE

    Group 3: State syllabus

Semi Finals: 5 Overs

Finals: 6 Overs

  • Champion Level: The highest level of competitions held offline among the City Level winners from each of the school boards. The Champions level match will be of 6 Overs.


Rubrics:

Victory (100%)

  • Winning the Match (100%):

    • The sole criterion for advancement is winning the match or game against the opposing team or player.

    • The team or individual that wins proceeds to the next round of the competition.


Registration and Timeline:

  • Registration for the Under-18 Olympics must be completed by August 11th, 2024.

  • The Constituency Level competitions must also be completed by August 18th, 2024.

  • Zonal Level winners will be announced by August 22nd, 2024.

  • The City Level competition dates will be communicated by the Under-18 IAS officers and the Under-18 MLA a week in advance.
